Chamber Services

The Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce offers a variety of services to support member businesses.

Referral Service:

The Chamber is the first stop for potential residents, visitors and business owners. The Chamber responds to its tremendous amounts of inquires by referring our members.

Inquiry Referral Service:

For a nominal fee, the Chamber will provide member businesses with a list of all individuals and/or businesses making vacation or relocation inquires to the county.

Networking:

The Brunswick County Chamber provides endless amounts of opportunities to network with fellow Chamber members, such as monthly Business After Hours, quarterly events, committee meetings, seminars and special events.

Quarterly Events:

Quarterly events are open to all Chamber members and consist of a guest speaker, an update on Chamber activities and the opportunity to exchange ideas and network.

Exposure:

Chamber members are invited to provide materials, such as business cards and flyers, to be displayed in the Chamber lobby free of charge. Members also receive a free listing in the annual Visitors and Business Guide and on the Chamber website. Chamber staff will also assist with your ribbon cuttings, grand openings and anniversaries.

Information Center:

The Chamber can provide your business with information on population, retail sales, state and federal laws and business trends.

Government Affairs:

The Chamber offers a Government Affairs Committee that members are welcome to participate in. This committee monitors and educates on public policy and governmental relations that impact Chamber members.

Visitors and Business Guide:

The Visitors and Business Guide is produced annually and 100,000 copies are printed and distributed through Welcome Centers, the Brunswick Beacon, travel shows, Chamber members and inquiries. Members are given a free listing in the guide as well as the opportunity to purchase advertising space.

Tourism:

The Chamber promotes tourism through our website, advertisements, travel shows, publications and special events.

Brunswick Bulletin:

Chamber members receive a free yearly subscription to the Brunswick Bulletin, our monthly newsletter. Members may also purchase an ad or place an insert in the newsletter for a nominal fee. Brunswick Chamber members also receive  complimentary copies of Brunswick Today and Coastal Business Life.

Leadership Brunswick County:

Leadership Brunswick County is designed to encourage business people to become involved in community leadership roles. The program includes sessions on government issues, education, health care, economic development and other vital areas of county life. Chamber members are eligible for a reduced tuition. Leadership Brunswick County is sponsored by the Brunswick Community College, North Brunswick, Southport-Oak Island Area and Brunswick County Chambers of Commece.

Membership Address Service:

A mailing list, including member name, contact and complete address, of Chamber members can be purchased by members for a nominal fee.

Sponsorship Exposure:

Chamber members are given the opportunity to sponsor our various special events and receive high levels of exposure for the business.
