FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Beth Mincher - Elemental Wellness
Young Living Essential Oils is the Cutting Edge of Green, Clean and Lean!
Ocean Isle Beach, NC - September 20, 2017 Beth Mincher, Health Coach and Owner of Elemental Wellness, and Young Living Essential Oils Educator, announces classes hosted at the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce office, at 114 Wall Street in Shallotte, to teach the local community about
non-toxic, plant based alternatives for physical, emotional and environmental wellness.
Young Living offers products ranging from essential oils, to supplements, mineral make-up, nutritional support, skin care and even home cleaning agents to reduce the hazards and exposure to harmful, toxic chemicals. Essential Oils have been used since the beginning of time, however, they are still relatively new to our modern society, and may seem overwhelming when learning how and why to incorporate them into your everyday routine. The key is finding a quality company, educating yourself and having guided support. Reducing chemical exposure is a cornerstone to better health. While good food and exercise is important, we often overlook even greater threats to our health that we are using every day.
Toxins abound in everyday life; some are harder to avoid than others. But when it comes to chemicals, cleaning products are some of the top offenders. According to the Organic Consumers Association: “In 2000, cleaning products were responsible for nearly 10% of all toxic exposures reported to U.S. Poison Control Centers, accounting for 206,636 calls.” Cleaning products present a wide range of health concerns; such as skin or respiratory irritation, watery eyes, or chemical burns, while others are linked to chronic, long-term effects; including weight challenges, hormone/endocrine disruption, even disease.
The Environmental Working Group has indicated compelling evidence that hundreds of cleaners, even some of those hyped as “green” or “natural” can inflict serious harm on unwary users. Many present severe risks to those who come into direct skin contact with the cleaning agent, or breathe their fumes. Americans assume government bodies oversee the safety of the multi-billion-dollar household and commercial cleaning industry, but it is largely unregulated. (Reported from the 2012 EWG Cleaners Database)
A transition to naturally derived, plant-based products provides a safer alternative for you and your family. Beth Mincher aims to educate the general public and will offer free classes this Fall; open to Chamber Members and to the general public. Classes will be held: Tuesday, October 24th (2pm) and Wednesday, November 14th (5:30-7pm). Information can also be found at www.bethmincher.com Product specials will also be offered to class attendees.
