Home & Garden Show
The 11th Annual Brunswick Island’s Home & Garden Show will be held
April 20-21 at Sea Trail Convention Center in Sunset Beach, NC.
Last years attendance for the two day event was over 1,000 people. The Brunswick Island's Home and Garden Show displays products and services for the home and garden including landscaping, gardening, pool and spas, windows, outdoor grills, home décor, utilities, real estate and financial services, and resources for home construction or improvement.

Oyster Festival
The next NC Oyster Festival will be held October 19-20, 2013 for its 33rd year! The beach center becomes a walking district that offers something for everyone: local cuisine, arts and crafts, children's activities, live music and the Oyster Shucking Contest. Events away from the crowds 5K, 10K Road Race and 1 Mile Fun Run. The 'Fest is made possible by the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce and the support of many generous area businesses and a wonderful group of volunteers and, most importantly, the weekend's dedicated revelers. Come join us for the 33rd Annual NC Oyster Festival and find out for yourself why the oyster is so treasured by Brunswick
County natives.
Hours: Saturday, 9am-6pm and Sunday, 9am-5pm
Admission: $5 for adults, free for kids 5 and under
Location: on the island of Ocean Isle Beach between 2nd Street and 3rd Street

Christmas on the River featuring Brunswick Stew Contest
The 7th Annual Stew & Que will be held Saturday,December 7, 2013 at Shallotte Riverside Park in Shallotte, NC. The fun filled day will include stew tasting, live music, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, a visit with Santa, kid's area and more!

Business After Hours
Held every 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7pm.
There are many opportunities for you to make more business connections. Each month, the Chamber conducts a Business After Hours, a monthly JumpStart Speed Networking, and Ribbon Cuttings.Business After Hours is the premier networking event for business professionals, giving you the opportunity to discuss and share ideas while learning about other local businesses. It is a relationship-building experience held in a relaxed setting that benefits you and your company through added contacts and resources. Business After Hours events take place once a month in a location designated by a sponsor company. Please note: this event is free for Chamber members, but registration is required.

Power Hour
These one hour seminar/workshops are designed to provide information that will help your business grow and prosper. Topics may include Public Relations, Taxes, Accounting, Going Green, Social Networking and Customer Service Tips.
