This event celebrates the chamber's success for the previous year and several membership awards are given. Nominations are taken in the fall each year and announced in December.
Home & Garden Show
The Annual Brunswick County Home & Garden Show will be held on March 7th, 2015 at West Brunswick High School from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Brunswick County Home & Garden show displays products and servcies for the home and garden including landscaping, gardening, pool and spas, windows, outdoor grills, home decor, utilities, real estate and financial services, and recources for home contruction or imporvement.
General Admission is $5.00 per person. Kids 8 and under are admitted free!
A fun evening is had by all as men trade in their work boots for high heels. Several awards are given out for most creative outfits, best smile and more.
The next NC Oyster Festival is held the 3rd weekend in October! The beach center becomes a walking district that offers something for everyone: local cuisine, arts and crafts, children's activities, live music and the Oyster Shucking Contest. Events away from the crowds 5K, 10K Road Race and 1 Mile Fun Run. The NC Oyster Festival is made possible by the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce and the support of many generous area businesses and a wonderful group of volunteers and, most importantly, the weekend's dedicated revelers. Muddy Oyster Mud Run 5k Challenge

The dirtiest thing you will ever do is participate in this invigorating and challenging obstacle mud course. Obstacles include, but are not limited to, climbing over walls, carrying heavy objects, traversing bodies of water and crawling under barbed wire. Many obstacles are similar to those used in military training, while others are unique to obstacle racing and are employed throughout the course to test endurance, strength, speed and, dexterity.
The Muddy Oyster will be the finishing event in a series of races held throughout the summer culminating in this final challenge. Individuals and teams can sign up for the series or you can run the final race on Saturday, October 11.
Top 10 Young Professionals chosen will demonstrate to Brunswick County though Civic & Business involvement.

Business After Hours
Held every 4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 to 7pm.
There are many opportunities for you to make more business connections. Each month, the Chamber conducts a Business After Hours, a monthly Power Hour, and Ribbon Cuttings. Business After Hours is the premier networking event for business professionals, giving you the opportunity to discuss and share ideas while learning about other local businesses. It is a relationship-building experience held in a relaxed setting that benefits you and your company through added contacts and resources. Business After Hours events take place once a month in a location designated by a sponsor company. Please note: this event is free for Chamber members, but registration is required.

Women In Business
The Women In Business program meets quarterly at various locations. The activities include, Round Table discussions related to women's issues, a Seminar, Mini Expo for women owned businesses and a Panel Disussion.
These one hour seminars are designed to provide trending information that will help your business grow and prosper. Topics may include Public Relations, Taxes, Accounting, Going Green, Social Networking and Customer Service Tips.

The Brunswick County Chamber is pleased to announce our new program Thursday Perks sponsored by OIB Surf & Java. Thursday Perks will provide a forum for the exchange of business to business leads and referrals among our chamber membership. Not only will referral group members be potential customers for each other, but they will be encouraged to find referrals for other members.
